Marvel’s Agent Carter — Sony Entertainment

Instagram Micro Series
One of my favorite projects while working for Sony Entertainment Television was a short series of videos to help promote the launch of Marvel's Agent Carter. I was granted full creative control over how to market the series in Latin America, but the only material available to our team was the collection of episodic promos that had aired in the U.S.
Limited footage aside, I gave myself permission to have a bit of fun, and let the show's aesthetic and energy inspire every detail - from the music selection to the title card design.
The title "La Mujer Del Sombrero Rojo" translates to "The Woman in the Red Hat" and playfully references the show's stylish 1940s look and feel.
The micro episodic series was created to work across different digital platforms, but its bite-sized 15-second duration was specifically designed to be shared on Instagram (back when reels weren't a thing - remember that?) Although crafted for the Latin American demographic, I think this wee series appeals to all Agent Carter /Marvel fans, no matter the language!

Each micro episode was created using repurposed footage from 30-second on-air promos. As a native Spanish speaker, I crafted all-new scripts en Español, and opted for fun (and often silly) copy to keep with the playful nature of both the series and the platforms it was shared on.

Hello, home office.
When working with Sony, I was watching 13-15 different TV shows at any given time, creating weekly recaps, social content, and on-air promos from this pre-pandemic WFH setup (and yes, Manu was almost always present…#QualityControl.)
